I write books for awesome kids (that’s you). I have a work desk where I’m supposed to write. But I can usually be found on my couch with my laptop on my lap covered in a cozy blanket because I’m almost always cold. When I’m not writing books, I love to learn new things about the outdoors and chase my own kids on hiking trails in California. (They are way faster than I am.)
Things I’m learning this year:
*How to ride a mountain bike.
*How to keep my room clean. (I have to re-learn this every year.)
*How to take really cool pictures of nature.
*How to make soap.
Things I love:
*Butterflies
*Using red vines as straws for Dr. Pepper
*Spin Class
*Trail running
*Hiking with my family
*Rainbows
*The smell of rain in the dirt
*Redwood Trees
*The diversity in California
*Utah’s red rock canyons
*Rocky Mountain Glacier-fed lakes
*Traveling with my family to a new place
*Collecting National Park Jr. Ranger Badges
*UCLA Bruins
